Mobile internet platform research
In 2001 this research focused on handheld devices and successfully predicted the demise of the ebook reader, flattening demand for PDA’s, and the success of the cell phone as a gaming platform. Also explored the “digital interface” concept that emerged as the iphone.

The debate on the future of these mobile devices is only beginning, I think.

Mobile internet devices are all based on the basic “phone” functionality and service infrastructure.   However, these are the early days.
